Many off us have lots of ideas and wishes but we keep procrastinating and procrastinating ad nauseam until you see those marvelous ideas done else where and you end feeling miserable at to say the least.

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel!

There is no an ideal time to get things done but now! that perfect idea may never come nor the perfect timing, we spend more time thinking about doing things than actually doing them.
I was reading a great article a blog about money making ideas and the author Benny Hsu, he wisely ask:

“What’s a huge obstacle that prevents most people from earning more money?
The answer
Coming up with a good idea.

Thats right, and until that marvelous idea that would change the world as we know it, comes.. we are still feeling sorry about our ourselves bitching about a horrible boss or blood suckers clients, they should buy some True Blood bottles and leave you alone right?. But we dont have to reinvent the wheel to be successful, we just need a new approach, feeling that gap of an already existing products or services, that could be your tip to success.
Just thinks about our beloved Steve, the iPhone was not the first phone, the iPod was not the first mp3 player.. should I continue? well I will, Google was not the first  search engine, nor the Atari 2600 the first console! All they did was make a existing things better.

The Done Manifesto

Another blog post, that inspired me was an infografic is named the Done Manifesto, it was done in merely 20 minutes and they have to create a manifesto encapsulating everything they knew about bring a creative vision to life and they did it 12 maxims I will quote my 4 favorites:

  • 5. Banish procrastination. If you wait more than a week to get an idea done, abandon it.
  • 6 The point of being done is not to finish but to get other things don
  • 10 Failure counts as done. So do mistakes.
  • 13 Done is the engine of more.

My favorite one is the last one, Done is the engine of more. All of us have felt that exhilarating experience when we accomplish challenging a task, and I do agree is like fuel you just want MORE and MORE! the oposite of procrastination… well It does want more… of nothingness.

The Social Engine

For our luck being creative and get things done have never been easier than before, in the past you got and idea and you got stuck because of the lack of money, or people to help you or you didn’t have the opportunity  to share it and polish that dream. With the power of the social engine you can Take Action now with Rock the Post. Need investors? Collaborators?  you name it. Just have to register then create a post about your project and that’s it, you started to make it happen.
Maybe that silly idea you got, worth millions if you find the right people to support it.
