I remember when I built websites entirely with tables and stretched pixels. It worked actually quite well, besides the amount of code 😉
@holger omg! I almost forget my good old 1×1 pix dots to make those tables behave! you are right 🙂
Oh God! I didn’t remember the my god old 11×1 pixels to make those tables behave!
When CSS came in, I gave up trying to learn out to do websites. It didn’t make sense to me in the beginning and has gotten worse as time goes by. At least tables had a kind of simple logic but CSS is just a misery for me. I know I’m alone in that. It is what it is.
@Dialyn you are not alone! I gave up as well. Then slowly were coming back to the web. But I am do agree with you it was very frustrating the switch.
